In El Paso there are about 18,000 dogs and cats that are euthanized each year as a consequence of our community’s pet overpopulation problem.Minimizing this horrendous number is our responsibility for it is us in the veterinary field that see and speak to pet owners on a regular basis; if we’re not educating our clients to do better for their pets, we fail our community as a whole.

El Paso is a place where your exceptional talents and skills can earn you a great living as you truly make a difference.

Our associate veterinarians may work in our mobile practice, Paws N’ Hooves Mobile Veterinary Services, where we perform low-cost services throughout El Paso. Our mobile clinic is a completely transformed RV that includes exam rooms, surgery room, kennels, digital radiographs, and a laboratory.

With the limited space on the mobile you will work closely with 2-3 technicians at a different location each day, three days out of the week.

With a smaller second mobile we are able to participate in spay and neuter clinics in our outlying communities. These clinics include various locations for Coalition for Pets and People, and SNAP. Depending on our availability we are able to participate in 4-10 clinics per month.

For our more traditional setting, we take you over to our small but mighty, Paws N’ Hooves Veterinary Hospital is a certified fear-free clinic for all animals, where we provide full veterinary services, full hospitalization, orthopedic surgeries, (limited) boarding, dental cleanings & surgeries, along with being one of the only veterinary practices in Texas that is trained and able to provide stem cell treatment.

There are currently two large exam rooms for patients, a laboratory, an x-ray room, surgery room, boarding kennels, isolation kennels, and post-op kennels. HOWEVER, we have just acquired a new building, and will be expanding Mesa Vet Clinic, providing everyone with more space, more state-of-the-art equipment, and more opportunities to help more pets.

For those who are looking for a different experience we also have a farm truck for our large animal lovers. 1-2 times a week we have a day filled with house and farm calls. These are scheduled for those people in our community who unable to bring their pets to us. These visits are performed by one of our associate veterinarians with the assistance of one technician.

As an associate veterinarian with our clinics you will gain a variety of experiences. As a small privately-owned practice we welcome innovation and encourage growth. We offer a strong mentorship program, tied to an extensive ‘Phase Training’, which allows you the flexibility and support to succeed within our practice, as well as experience active growth in the veterinary field.

If you like to empower your community through education, and provide best medicine, preventative medicine & surgery, and you really rock and roll–  this place is for YOU!!
