I graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and quickly returned to my hometown. I started my career at Paws N’ Hooves and I hope to be here for the duration of it. My passion is internal medicine and dentistry in dogs and cats, although I do also enjoy surgery. I have a Mastiff named Sammie, a German Shepherd named Lola, a Mastiff mix named Coco and a Yorkie named Lupe. One of my goals for our clinic was to achieve accreditation through The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), which we were finally able to accomplish in July of 2021. This accreditation is something I am very proud of because it signifies that we meet an extensive list of standards required to provide high quality medicine, surgery and patient care. I also strongly believe in the importance of fear free tactics, a strong preventative medicine program and the human-animal bond. I hope that you come join our family here at Paws N’ Hooves. I look forward to working with you and your fur babies!
Bio Coming Soon!
Dr. Sydney Stotler was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she spent her childhood loving and caring for animals. As she grew older that love for animals and passion for science and medicine fostered a desire to attend veterinary school.
She obtained her B.S from the University of Findlay where she double majored in animal science and biology and was an assistant teacher in equine and food animal handling courses. She then attended veterinary school at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where she was a large animal student resident her fourth year and graduated magna cum laude in 2022.
Her veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and preventive care. In her free time Dr. Sydney enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the outdoors such as hiking, fishing, and walking her mastiff Gemma and her tripod mixed breed Yard (there’s three feet in a yard). She is excited to serve El Paso and the surrounding area and looks forward to caring for your pets large and small
Brianda, Paws N’ Hooves Mobile Veterinary Services
Director of Mobile Services
My love for animals started to show at a very young age. I started playing to be a veterinarian and help feed our neighborhood stray cats and dogs. My household consists of 7 dogs, 5 sugar gliders, and the love of my life my beautiful “Güero” the cat. All my pets have an interesting story behind their adoption, I really can’t see my life without them. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, all my fur babies, and going to rodeos. Every day is a good day no matter the circumstances because every day you learn something new. I love client education, from preventative care medicine for puppies/kittens to hospice or special needs care for adults and senior pets. It’s my pleasure to provide guidance for the well-being of your fur babies. I really don’t see myself working in any other place, I love and enjoy what I do. I look forward to continue helping the El Paso community and their pets with Mesa Veterinary Clinic and Paws N’ Hooves Mobile Veterinary Services.
Olga, Paws N’ Hooves Veterinary Hospital
Director of Administration
Hi! My name is Olga and even though I’m a new face I’ve been in the vet industry for over 10 years. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to work with pets and their owners both with treatment, advice and getting them on their way after what can be a stressful experience when they are not feeling all too great. I enjoy being able to help the little ones without a voice and I’ve been blessed to have been able to work in this field for so long learning how to keep our little ones healthy. I’ve got six dogs which I love dearly and a cat that’s always getting into trouble. I’m excited to be part of the team and looking forward to meeting all of your little critters.
Throughout my time here I have managed the administrative and bookkeeping duties. I enjoy my administrative duties, as well as, utilizing my experience to contribute to new ideas in making the business successful. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from Mr. Francisco Orduno and Dr. Amy Starr on how to manage a business.
Hello, my name is Johana. I was born in Cd. Juarez but was raised in El Paso, Tx. Once I graduated high school, I decided to pursue a degree in Education. I received an Associate of Arts in Elementary Education in 2006 and continued to get my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Southwestern Adventist University. After three years of being out of town, I decided to come back to my hometown to be with my family. Throughout the years I’ve worked in many different areas but never found my true calling until now. I’m thankful I was given the opportunity to take a Certified Veterinary Assistant course because if there’s one thing I love most aside from my family and being able to work with kids, is animals. Currently, I have four cats (my calico cat Baby, Nini aka Pishu Papa, Donnie, and Michaelangelo) and my big boy, a German Shepard/Lab mix, Bucky. I love working at the clinic because I get a sense of satisfaction to know that we’re helping one pet at a time to stay healthy. Our Doctors, technicians, and staff members genuinely care for every pet well-being that walks in through the door; and being able to snuggle with so many pets on a daily is always a plus!
Hi! My name is Kassie. I was born and raised right here in El Paso, TX. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I currently have two dogs, Hachi (Corgi mix) and Katara (Husky). I’m so grateful to be given the opportunity to be a part of this team and family and I look forward to meeting and interacting with all the fur babies that come to our clinic!

Juarez I would always say once I was older I would find a home for all the stray dogs and cats in the world! Quite ambitious but it was the spark that motivated me to pursue a career in the Veterinary field. I attended CCTE during high school to attained my CVA and am currently enrolled in NMSU to get a bachelor’s in animal science. I am from Florida where I’ve worked in the veterinary field for 9 years, 2 1/2 years in ER/ICU, 4 years in specialty surgery, 2 years in an Animal Resort/Customs K9 boarding and now the last few months in General Practice. I have a furr child named Owen Grady, an almost 2 year old pitbull. I love to draw and go hiking. I am currently in school obtaining my veterinary technician license to expand my knowledge in order to help more animals that cross my path. Animals are my passion, of all shapes and sizes. I hope to one day own my own sanctuary for all species that need a home. As well as own a business where I’d have a doggy school bus to help people who work long shifts know their pets are getting home safe. I treat every patient I come in contact with as my own, striving to ensure the most positive experience for the animal when visiting our clinic. I know I can speak for every person on our team when I say, we are the voices for all animals that we treat. I believe animals are our equals, and deserve so much love!
